HOW TO COMMISSION A PAINTING
Commissioning a painting from an artist can be such an exciting process but it can also be a little intimidating, What do you need to know? What do you ask the artist? Below I have put together a simple outline of the sort of things that i will need to get started.
When you're ready to commission a painting it is wise to have a clear idea of what you are looking for or what you would like for the space. The most important thing is to communicate as much detail about what you would like the end painting to look like so that i can get a good sense of what you want, You can send a picture of the space you want to hang your painting, send measurements or colour examples if you are trying to match the painting to your home or office space. Here is some of the information that i typically would ask a customer to get started.

A painting can be any size you like. What size of painting is best for your wall? Well, it really depends on the wall. In a perfect world, the wall in question would be beautifully symmetrical to the other walls, exacting in the shape and size and the painting would be at the same height as the all the other artwork in the room. However, in reality there are usually light switches, air vents, and temperature gauges awkwardly getting in the way of perfect positioning. Taking measurements is the best way, A trick to getting a good idea whether the size your thinking is going to work is to use some masking tape to outline the size of where the painting will be and that way you can stand back and get a sense of the dimentions of your new painting. If your still not sure, let me know and ill advise on a good size for your space.

COLOUR & STYLE? |

If you have a specific colour theme in mind that you are trying to work with, let me know, I can match your painting to the colour theme of your choice.You can send me swatches of colour, samples of texture that you like or even just a picture of your favorite rug if its the colour you want.. Let me know which areas of your room you want to point out or which elements of the room you would like to tie together within the painting. Everything is flexible and i can work to suit your needs.
If there is a texture or style of art that you have seen, a poster of something in a magazine that you thought you would like, let me know, I can work on something using that style of painting or colour for you. |

PAYMENT & DELIVERY
When your ready, Simply Contact me either via email or phone and we can arrange all the details of your new artwork. Once we have agreed all is left to do is make payment and i will get started right away. I accept payment via Bank Transfer, Paypal or Personal Cheques.
Once your payent has been received i will get started on your paintings, Keeping you up to date the whole way through with images and emails to keep you informed on how things are going, and once your paintings are ready to be delivered i will arrange a day agreed upon by you to deliver, I can deliver any day that suits you best so there wont be any lengthy waiting in all day. You will receive a tracking code once your delivery has been booked so that you can follow the progress too. If you have any questions at all, let me know and I'll do everything I can to answer them.
