This painting forms part of my brand new series, The Hydrosphere Collection, a series of 10 highly textured abstract paintings, all inspired by the oceans of our world.
Some pieces feature waves crashing on the rocks of a bay or the powerful currents of the open ocean, using a mixture of materials to give an abstract sense of the oceans and all their overwhelming beauty.
Sitting on the Ocean Floor is a very special, modern painting that has been painted in such a way that depending on the angle it is viewed from, can look different in colour and tone, due to the metallic shine of the golden and turquoise blue surface and the waving texture rolling across the painting, Giving the sense that you are truly sitting on the ocean floor, looking up at the surface from underneath.
