Metamorphosis is a paiinting that has a great energy about it, It has fluid, fresh white streaks layered over a vibrant purple which gently changes into a deep blue. And with the texture layed into the piece it creates such an amazing sense of character and flow as if the surface of the painting was still wet and moving then suddenly frozen in the middle the colours changing and evolving ito each other. Its a very striking piece and the edges of the deep canvas have been painted black to enhance the 3-D feel to the canvas, check out the close up images above to get a better sense of the texture and movement in the painting.

My creative process when working on my abstract paintings includes experimenting with unusual
materials found in the natural environment and using them to create my original abstract paintings. I research and experiment new ways of manipulating materials often and always
try to use unusual approaches and to take a different perspective to
my abstract art that i hope comes across in the finished pieces.
